Heat Transfer Products Group (HTPG), headquartered in Duluth, Georgia, designs, manufactures and markets energy-efficient commercial and industrial refrigeration equipment and system solutions sold under the trusted premium brands: Russell, Witt, Kramer, and ColdZone. UNIT Coolers

Unit coolers are designed for optimal distribution of cooled air in refrigerated warehouses, walk-in coolers and freezers, meat preparation cutting rooms, supermarkets and various other applications. HTPG's wide array of unit coolers provide the food service industry the perfect solution for a wide range of applications, such as under-counter or display case reach-in units for use in kitchens and fast food restaurants, walk-in coolers and freezers for use in restaurants, stadium concessions, beer coolers, schools, hospitals, and convenience stores.

Condensing units

A condensing unit used in refrigeration is comprised of a compressor balanced with a heat exchanger section to cool down and condense incoming refrigerant vapour into liquid refrigerant. These units are typically used in warehouses, restaurants, convenience stores, and many other venues. HTPG condensing units are offered in either medium- or low-temperature varieties, air or water cooled to ensure that we meet all our customer’s needs. HTPG manufactures condensing units, ranging from ½ HP up to 100 HP, in single or dual circuit, air and water-cooled configurations as well as multiple compressor food service racks.

Air cooled condensers/ fluid coolers

HTPG offers air cooled condensers to a multitude of applications including food service and food retail and other customers. Air cooled condensers use an array of fans to move large amounts of air over condensing coils and are a highly engineered element of the refrigeration system.

HTPG offers fluid coolers capable of cooling almost any non-corrosive fluid. Ranging from single fan to 14-fan units, HTPG fluid coolers provide energy saving alternatives when used with water-cooled machinery or as an economizer in computer room or printing press cooling applications.

Air Cooled Fluid Coolers lend themselves to an extraordinary variety of cooling applications. These units cool most fluids that are non-corrosive to copper tubing. They provide closed circuit cooling of condensing water thus avoiding maintenance of evaporative water cooling. The fluid cooler doubles as an economizer to cool interior space during winter, then cools condenser water in the summer. Fluid coolers can also cool compressor oil in heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The industrial cooling applications are endless!

Specialty products

HTPG provides a variety of specialty commercial refrigeration products including air handlers, include air handlers, evaporator defrost controls and custom coils.

HTPG’s Air Handlers are an industrial grade product with heavy gauge mill-galvanized steel framing and sheet metal throughout. Designed specifically for the HVAC industry with a full range of options and accessories, these units are ideal for custom or design-and-build projects in refrigeration or air conditioning.

EcoNet® Enabled Unit Coolers are intelligent, electronically operated evaporators designed for energy efficiency and easier installation. Developed in conjunction with Rheem Manufacturing, it builds on the success, reliability and efficiency of Rheem’s EcoNet® technology and brings it to the commercial refrigeration market for energy savings, consistent temperature, and improved product quality. The smart EcoNet Command Center with intuitive touchscreen allows for single or multiple EcoNet Enabled Unit Coolers to be programmed, monitored, and troubleshot outside of the space being cooled.

The Surveillant Demand Defrost Evaporator Controller uses proprietary advanced algorithms to maximize energy efficiency while minimizing the effects of defrost on the space temperature.
